I recently separated a Cow from her Calve. The Calve is eleven months old and I know I should have separated them sooner but I was unable to do it buy myself. Anyway I have been feeding the Calve a mix of five pounds of cracked corn, five pounds of sweet feed, a cup of cotton seed meal and mineral once a day about noon. She has fresh water also a mineral feeder with salt and mineral, a block of salt, and a roll of mixed grass hay free choice. Is this to much or is there something I'am missing?

At 11 months she should be a good size, unless you're trying to fatten her, I'm sure she can do without the sweet feed, corn, etc... Free choice hay, mineral, and water *should* be sufficient for any cow
