calfing season

I have noticed that this year all th cats and dog are giving birth early thios year are cow following suite?

We've had 5 calves in the past 2 days, evidently the bull getting out with the cows last year moves our calfing season up a month or two...

Had an Annual meeting this weekend (with the blizzard!). A large Angus breeder (well, he's not large - just the farm :lol: anyway, he said most of his calves are coming early & small.
Have to say, out of 5, 4 were early. Love it - keep coming early.

We have had early and late, small and large at our farm. The heifers are coming early and the bulls are coming later for the most part. This has been over 4 ai bulls this year.

only bad thing is that when you find one that's dead but can't find a reason, looks perfectly normal, perfectly formed, somewhat maddening...
