Calf hooves

Had a new calf, everything seems fine except for the hooves. They peel towards the bottom and are soft underneath on the pad? She stands fine and is nursing. Any ideas, I've never seen this before. I thought about putting iodine on them and seeing if they harden up. She is a nice calf, don't want to mess her up. Thanks

They should harden up fine on their own soon enough. Leave her be...

The hoofs have that pad so it's easier on the borth canal of the cow. Leave them alone and they'll look "normal" very shortly.
