Butt Rubber

I have a 13 yr. old mare who rubs her butt on fences, gate, walls, what ever. I clean her udder on a regular basis, she is on a regular worming schedule and rotation, no chance of lice because of grooming and baths twice a month. any Ideas...just because it feel good?

she may be allergic to something in the pasture if she goes out. we had some do like that last year around this time. it was only mares so we narrowed it down to something in the mare pasture. some got hives, others just rubbed their butts in the stall. or it could just feel good.

She's just itchy. As long as she's wormed regularly, and she doesn't have a rash of any type, she should be fine. I have a heifer that does the same thing.
