Butchered today

Well we cut up our beef we killed on Good Friday, today. I was pleased with the way the meat turned out. Seemed to have good marbling throughout.

That's at least as good as the 16.99 lb steaks at Hy-Vee and nearly identical to
Hy-Vee's 22.65 lb steaks and I'd bet they both taste the same, which is Great!

Some grocery stores have switched to pricing steaks per 12 oz and not per lb
my sister got caught on that... lol ya gotta read the fine print.

Lately I've been really impressed with Hy-Vee's beef campaign. For a grocery store chain they do have really good beef.
