Finally, a moment to post some photos! It has been pretty busy around here this summer, and a long, cool and wet summer to boot. We are finally getting some heat and that is nice although kinda hard to adjust to. Crops are looking pretty awesome and so are the cattle. I've been busy showing my horse and travelling with my daughter to horse camp, baling and I had surgery to hopefully fix up my knee last week. So far it is feeling pretty good although the Dr said I have permanent damage (no surprise there). I have actually taken a few photos of the cattle, just haven't had time to do anything with them up til now! So here you go, it is a little difficult to get decent pictures, the flies are keeping them all bunched up. Here's a nice big angus x steer calf and his mama in the background. And here's another Another Angus x steer, he's quite a calf! This guy's still a bull, couldn't get him banded at calving time and we forgot about him at branding.
