Bushhog quick attach vs skid steer quick attach

Help Support CattleToday:

Bush hog is still building loaders. Bf you could call them, they buy old bush hog equipment and refurb it. My have a set of forks.

Called the manufacturer, and they no longer make my paticular quick attach system. I guess the search continues.

Give these people a call. I saw one not to long ago on their lot. The place is located just across the VA line joining eastern KY. The factory mine was built at closed its doors and it was big, maybe nation wide they are being made somewhere.

Here is one on Craigslist not to far from you that has been listed for 23 days.

Here is mine as the number is BS 201. That might help in finding the right one.

I emailed the craigslist add, maybe I'll hear back soon.

Bigfoot,

Did you ever come up with a solution? If so, what did you do?

I'm looking for brackets or an adapter so that I could use skidsteer attachments on my 2426 Bush Hog front end loader.

Thanks!!

I eventually just threw money at the problem, until it went away. I took it to an Amish machine shop, and he refabbed the spear. New spike, and his work on the brackets was around $150.

Thanks!!

Not sure what I'm going to do yet, but thinking about just buying an adapter setup made for my brackets that accepts skidsteer attachments.

The retailers are sure enough proud of them, but it's once and done and I don't have to buy brackets, plates, etc. and then spend time that I don't have trying to weld it all up.

Thanks for the info and the post!!

I saw one sell and Tyler Brothers Farm Machinery auction last Saturday, if I remember correctly $100, but it didn't have the spear with it.
