I was listening to a news radio station the other day while at work. I didn't catch the persons name, but he was a politician from Washington D.C. Anyway, he was a spokesperson for a group of politicians called Democrats For Bush. He said after working along side Kerry for years, he couldn't support him, especially after hearing Kerry's economical plan which he said would "halt the economic recovery in its tracks".
Just makes you wonder what he would be like as president if some democrats are trying to keep him from the Whitehouse.

The demo-creeps.. scary bunch.. Kerry is a flip-flopper, a tell you what you want to hear guy.. of course if he were elected he would suffer serious "selective" memory loss; fuel prices will go up to $the sky, we would be kissing France's butt.. even tho there is an investigation going on now to see if they received over $50 billion in bribes while in bed with Saddam, the slimy lawyers would be making a zillion dollars a year trying to take your guns and suing everything that had any thing to do with the manufacture of them, as if a gun had a mind of its own. The military would once again be reduced to half what it is today. They all make me sick.

GO BUSH!!!!!

I believe that it is very important for the AG world for Bush to be re-elected. This man is a supporter of the ranching industry. Kerry is about as lib as you can get. In my opinion the libs are what has this country on the down slide. Rural communities and their style of life is in danger. We need a strong conservative leader. We need a man who is not afraid to defend this country, despite having alot of people disagree with military action. Dems want the last thing this country needs, more government. Vote Bush!

The only problem with reelecting Pres Bush is; Billary will have a better shot in 08.

We'll cross that bridge when we get to it. Besides, it's still not impossible that she will be on the ticket this time.

I was talking with my brother, who works in a steel mill. While he is not fond of the democreeps, he couldn't understand why I was so concerned about Kerry and about not reversing the current Bush tax cuts. I had to show him some bottom line numbers from my small business and ranch and how the taxes came out very different before and after.

Agriculture and small business needs to keep Bush!

I don't think I want King George II back on the throne. I don't think I can handle another Imperialist President. There is nothing in Iraq of great importance....you can't grow anything there, too dang hot and dry..... Can't open manufactering plants because water is scarce..... The only thing there is in Iraq is oil and antiquity stuff. The war in Iraq should be renamed "Blood for Oil" war. Why should we fight for oil when there is enough oil here in America? An offshore rig near Long Beach, CA can drill enough oil to last us for the next sixty years! In sixty years, we will ge driving electric cars.... SO Bush wasted millions of our dollars on dirt.
I am sorry, I am not a very good writer.
Furthermore, Bush has told so many lies its disguisting. He was dead on about finding WMD in Iraq....so where are they? He was so dead on that Saddam was an intermitt threat to America. British invesigators has concluded that Saddam was NEVER an intermitt threat to America... He was so dead on that there was a link between him and bin Laden. He claimed that bin Laden is providing Saddam's money to form an terrorist network in Iraq.. False. There IS a terrorist network in Iraq but they were in their rabbit holes in northern Iraq....Saddam could care less if they were there.... The war in Iraq has encouraged bin Laden an oppurtunity to send his Al Qaeda men to Iraq from IRAN or SAUDI ARABIA to kill our men and bystanders. Bush has ruined our reputation to counter an preemtive strike on another country. Bush managed to break that code.. Most of the world sees us as an invading country who wish to dominate the world.... Sadly, they are right.
Want more? Bush said he doesn't talk with foreign leaders about shipping jobs..... false. More and more jobs are leaving the country at an rapid rate and Bush could care less to stop it.
Bush said he plans to raise the taxes on the rich.....false. He manage to GIVE tax cuts to his wealthy buddies.
The list goes on and on........
Two good thing Bush has done is attacked Afghanistan, and plans to sign that will ban gay marriages.
I don't like Kerry either. He got a shady character with an big ego. But he said two words that were very important to me "Mission Accomplished" referring if he went to the White House the first thing he is going to do is bring our troops home and probably divert more troops to find bin Laden in his caves in Afghanistan. Kerry claimed he has not spoken with foreign leaders about creating jobs in their countries. He did talked with them but it was an diplomanic manner. I think some of you should stop and think about our friend from Texas has done over the years..... He managed to make things worse....and things that are already worse to very bad! Therefore I chosen the lesser of the two evils: Kerry (even if he is an corporate brat).
Bye bye King George!

You are correct in that you don't write well. Must have been a democrat in office while you were growing up. Also, where was Clinton when all of these events were building? Oh I remember. He was in the back with Monica. And you think Bush lies ... Hmmmm. I kinda recall Clinton getting impeached for perjury.

do you really think that one off shore rig can supply oil for 60 years ?

I think he fell and hit his head US refining capacity is right at 12 million barrels a day. Barrel is 42 gallons. We are still importing gasoline everyday through Henry Hub NY. I work in the largest gasoline refinery in the country and run half of it, one well wouldn't be enough to start up on.You really shouldn't post on subjects you are absolutely clueless about unless your trying to learn something.

2001 The Nation's petroleum production measured an average of 11.0 barrels of oil per day per well, 41 percent below the 1972 peak.
U.S. petroleum consumption reached 19.7 million barrels per day, an all-time high.
Of every 10 barrels of petroleum consumed in the United States, more than 4 barrels were consumed in the form of motor gasoline. The transportation sector alone accounted for two-thirds of all petroleum used in the United States.
To meet demand, crude oil and petroleum products were imported at the rate of 11.9 million barrels per day, while exports measured 1.0 million barrels per day.
Net imports (imports minus exports) of crude oil and petroleum products more than doubled from the 4.3 million barrels per day in 1985 to 10.9 million barrels per day. The five leading suppliers of petroleum to the United States that year were Canada, Saudi Arabia, Venezuela, Mexico, and Nigeria.

It's totally amazing how gullible some people are.

When, in spite of all efforts to avoid it, a republic must go to war, the focus of the nation is temporarily changed. The President, as Commander-In-Chief, assumes the extraordinary powers necessary to conduct the all-out effort. Citizens and legislators must then put aside differences and unite against the common enemy. Undesirable conduct may be forced on the republic in dealing with an unscrupulous enemy.

If the enemy shall put to death, torture or otherwise ill-treat any of the hostages in their hands,... recourse must be had to retaliation as the sole means of stopping the progress of human butchery, and... for that purpose punishments of the same kind and degree [should] be inflicted on an equal number of their subjects taken by us till they shall be taught due respect to the violated rights of nations.

Those aren't my words, Oregonian. They're Thomas Jefferson's. Ever heard of him?

maybe he thinks in the Kerry years we will run our vehicles on Ketchup.

ALso probably thinks that Jefferson didn't mean it that way. You have once again applied a conservative interpretation instead of the correct liberal one.

Oh Oregano
You slay me. You are obviously one of these socialists that thinks that all nations should be independent and handle all of their own commodities as well as there own problems. First and foremost, I believe that if you weren't fighting a war in the middle east you would be fighting it on American soil. If the mexicans and drugs can sneak across your borders so can the terrorists.
Now for a lesson in economics. You obviously need to be dragged into the 21st century. You're only about 200 years behind. First, you are not self sufficient in your country in very many things. You are dealing in a global economy. Putting artificial tariffs on free trade is not going to work. For example, the US government made a decision to try to protect American jobs by putting a tariff on imported steel. Other countries that were supplying the US quickly found other markets. How did that pan out for you. Steel prices are predicted to rise by 30%. Great for the steel producers but it substantially increases the costs to your manufacturing sector. The demand-price curve predicts that there will be layoffs in this sector due to the increased prices and therefore lower sales. This will affect construction and manufacturing primarily. Trickle down effects include an increase in the inflation rate and erosion of the average consumers spending power, which will in turn lower the average consumers' standard of living. On a more global scale, tariffs on the US part will usually generate retaliatory tariffs on the part of your trading partners. Less exports also equals less employment for the employees of the exporters. It is an ugly fact that most of the world is price sensitive and so if China or Mexico can produce it cheaper, that's where the money is going to go. Currently, Bush is trying to weaken the US dollar on the world market which will promote sales as your dollar and thus your products become less expensive to other countries. Any other fiscal policy such as Clinton's would see you losing jobs at a much quicker rate. The only solution is to do what you do well and do it cheaply. Anyway, if you want to know more open up any grade 10 economics text and read for awhile. I learned a long time ago that most people will defend their opinion even if they know they are wrong, but hopefully this makes you think.

Right is Right

The powers - that - be - (the illuminati) determine who the next president will be before the first vote is ever cast. If they want to influence foreign policy they put in a republican, domestic policy they put in a democrat. Both Bush and John F'ing Kerry are Bonesmen, which means the illuminati control both of them. All we can do is hope the lesser of the two evils are installed as president (Bush). Check out http://www.cuttingedge.org/ for more information on the two of them. :(
