About 70 miles north, spent a lot of time in the Old and Lost River bottom in my youth.
Very rough country on cows, I have actually seen the cows standing in the bay trying to escape skeeters.
If you ever wanted to see a show it was the Winne Auction barn before it closed down, the ring was quite impressive to hold those salt grass cows and calfs some which it was there first encounter with a human.

Those wild-a$$ed gals with a lot of ear do put on a good show, especially if you're just a spectator watching from a safe distance. :lol2:
