winter was hard, we did our best with them, they look better now since it got warmer, and they passed their test. Just alfalfa hay for the winter and a 22% lick tube...march 1 to now

Their only job this winter was to eat, sleep, keep warm, and not freeze the tool. We built a snow pile wind break with the tractor lots of bedding, as well as they had bush and the hay bales around the bees for shelter from the wind.
