Vet was here for 6 hours yesterday and 6 1/2 today, semen tested 71 bulls while we had a good visit. Been doing business with this fellow for 28 years now and still talking!

Will be glad to see 12 bulls we wintered for a neighbor leave tomorrow to free up some pen space and 9 more for another guy in two weeks. Will know how our bulls tested in a couple days.

Seems we lose 2 or 3 a year. Neighbor lost one out of 12.

That's a lot of BSE testing. Were these all yearlings?

There were 20 bulls that I wintered for 2 neighbors and the rest were ours. Only 10 of them were yearlings.
