Bull

I am going to buy a bull this year and since I have never owned one before, I need some advice. I am going to buy a Hereford or Angus to use on my Angus heifers and cows.Any special care, equipment or handling needed? I have always had a borrowed (leased) bull in the past.

yes and no no special equipment or handeling BUT watch him every new bull on the place has the capability to stomp you into a bloody puddle, AND until you have actually seperated him from a cow in heat you never know. Ive seen a pickup totaled when guys tried to block a gate with it and a buddy saw a bull lift a fergeson 35's front end off the ground butting it like another bull.
