Bull rest period between groups

I've got an idea to breed some heifers with a calving ease bull and perhaps do it 3 times a year. How long would you want a bull to rest before turning in another group? I'm thinking 10-15 hd at a time for 45 to 60 days.

10 to 15 head shouldn't tire him out at all (unless he only had a week) ha

Keep him working, he'll enjoy it.

If the bull is a couple of years old I would just move hiim every 45 days to the next group.

If they produce a sperm cell today, isn't it several days (maybe 70) before that sperm cell is used?
