I have some heifer calves, bull calves I castrated and one bull calf I am keeping intact to sell as a yearling Beefmaster bull. My question is when do I need to pull that bull calf off and put him in a pen and feed him so he doesn't try to breed the heifer calves? He is 6 months now the heifers are only two months but they all play together and he has mounted them half heartedly...

Id pull him sooner rather than later.

I would as soon as I started seeing "mounting" behavior. They might not be nearly mature enough to actually come in heat, but you do not want him to injure them either.
Be sure to put a steer calf (or more) in with him.
