With Braford heifers,as in gonna breed them to him eventually?or just running with them?

I don't know your situation and won't pretend to..but I wouldn't..he's not bull material even if he were a solid color...if your heifers are good Quality..it would be like mating and yugo to a corvette..finally got the pictures to come up..

I really don't understand using cull bulls! A bad cow hurts a bad bull is a disaster. No one is saying you have to spend 5K on a bull. Short changing yourself hurts ever cattleman at the salebarn when undesirable calves come through.
This red calf grew out like a tank he is 3/4 Red Angus and a 1/4 Brahman, shows little Brahman at all. He has some great genetics in his background, I still wouldn't have used him. He would look good in the pasture I just don't want a box of crayons on the trailer to be docked at the barn.

Not for my market ; spotted calves bring little at the sale barn . Yours might be different ? Too much ear and too much sheath . He is pretty, but not a money maker .

Idk of any branford around here.
Where u located?

U want a calving ease bull for heifers. Does that black bull make easy calving babies?
He looks a bit light in the rear to me, in that picture.
But for a first calf, who cares! As long as its black around here, the calf will sell ok.
A scrawny colored up calf wont bring diddly when the time comes
