Bull any good?

friend has a bull for sale, a reg. angus, a direct son of Bon View New Design 1407, he says it has great epd's, i not sure how to understand eps's, mabey there is a web site that i can learn from, but anyways just wanted other views on this breed of bull or to find out if this bull is any good. any help would be great.
