Building border fence

In the early 90's my Army engineer unit was sent to Arizona to build a border fence. This off course was not widely publicized. We built 6 miles of solid steel fence 9 ft tall in 4 weeks. Only worn an torn chainlink was there before. 2 weeks after we left it started getting blown to pieces. With no one watching it 24/7 anyone could walk up to it and put some TNT on it and they did. A border fence will only work if its built like the Berlin wall. A 24/7 standing armed guard at the wall with a mine field. I don't think Americans are willing to see this happen.

I agree, I doubt a border fence will do any good. As long as our government choses to reward sorriness and worthlessness the immigration problem will steadily grow worse until it might be us trying to cross the border to abandon this mess they have created in their attempts to buy a vote.
