I as well am not concerned about contracting CJD. In fact I have traveled to both Europe and Canada and BSE did not stop me from enjoying BEEF. The only reason I said anything about CJD, was Jake's statement about cancer.
It does't really matter because even scientists are not 100% positive of what causes BSE! So we as producers can take every possible step to prevent BSE from occuring and it still might. I just think that ignoring a problem or sweeping it under the rug is not the correct way of doing things.
