I read an article that said the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) reported 7088 BSE tests in December 2004 and an average of 5258 tests the first three months in 2005. How much does a test cost? How long does it take to get results?
Well, it's a government funded program, and farmers are not able to test the animals which are going for slaughter. So... I can't choose to test my cow which is hamburger bound and pay for it...
