Anyone have recommendations to breed Hickok daughters? I have some special focus in the tank that I'm really thinking about plugging in them.

No experience with Hickok, but we used Special Focus some years back on both some registered and commercial heifers. My opinion is that he is a good reliable calving ease bull that should work alright with about any heifer. We did get some feedback on some commercial bred heifers that we sold bred to him, one was said to have had an extremely small calf. We only retained one heifer by SF, and she did not get bred and was culled.

We only have two BB daughters. They both have weaned their first calves now and after looking in the books we like their performance. ( both weened first calves over 650lbs) They are both about the size we like and have that nice straight back and beautiful tailset. I am seriously thinking of using him again this year as he seems to be on the fall special through ABS every year.
