The general rule is to breed a heifer to have her first calf at 24 months of age. So, if she's cycling, breed her at about 15 months old. What are you going to breed her to?

And keep in mind that Brahman's generally reach sexual maturity somewhat later than many other breeds, so calving at 24 months might be a little early to expect of her.
