How long should one wait to breed a cow after she has had calf.

Correct if a cow is not dropping a calf every 12 months it's time for the barn (sale barn).

Unless you want to season breed and she is out of time with the rest of the herd you can hold her back as long as you wish. If your bull is with the cows all the time she should rebreed within 45 to 60 days . I have a cow that rebreeds after 30 days , but it's a little fast. They really need some rest time to get back in body condition.
