Breeding Heifers

I have a couple of 13 month old heifers that i would like to put in with my bull in about 2 months. My question is how much frame should the heifers have? They are Angus hereford cross and probably 550# to 600# presently they just seem awfully short and the cows are larger framed herefords. Any info would help. Thank You

The rule of thumb is a minimum of 65% of their expected mature weight. I would recomend you figure out some method of ctualy getting them weighed. They can fool you about what the really weigh.
