Before you buy this bull, has he been tested by a vet for the amount and quality of swimmers? This in itself would be the judge on whether to buy him or not. Feed cosumption, mineral all play a part in his ability to produce swimmers. Would hate to buy a dud. As well, for hiefers, birth weight is real important. It could mean the difference of a live or dead calf out of a hiefer, or a live or dead mother. Especially if you are not around much cause you work off farm?
