I would like to know if there are any stats out there that give info on the ideal climates/temperatures for breeding and sustaining the different breeds of cattle, generally, what each different breed's tolerance is in regards to these variables.

well, cattle usually do not breed in the heat of the day, but Brahman cross cattle will breed better in both the heat of the day and in the southern heat. That's all i got, hope I helped. Adios...

you can travel through an area and tell by looking at the cattle. in the south it is brahma and brahma cross.north is angus and hereford. there are some cattle that are raised in a certain area that do become acclimated. i live in north arkansas and there are big differences in temp. we need alittle ear on our cattle. but not too much. the market is more of a determining factor in the type of cattle raised in an area. i don't know of stats.
