> heifer? I'm partial to Shorthorns & Angus because that is what I raise myself, but every breed has calving ease bulls available. Most semen companies have bulls duly noted to use on 1st. calf heifers. Check out the EPD's for Birth Wt. and choose 1 closest to zero or negative for B.W. and has a high degree of accuracy too.
