Wife and i are going to branson in october..17-21/22..what is a must see what is a shouldn't see? Branson yes? Branson no? Where is the best place to stay? (Don't say home!)

Maybe by then the season has slowed down enough, but most times you need to have show tickets before you get there. Some of the shows are real hard to get on only a day or twos notice.
The show that I've heard nothing but positive about is named Red Hot & Blue". Not sure but it may be more of an over 40, maybe 50 or 60 type of show.
Branson has a visitors center type deal on-line that will have most of the shows and what ones are open, closed, show times, etc.
