Brangus x gelbvieh

Anybody running gelbvieh bulls on com. brangus cows? How do you like the calves and how does their performance measure up. How do they hold up in the heat (gulf coast). I dont know alot about the gelbvieh breed. Never used them and nobody around here has any.

Thanks for the info. I would love to have a hundred like her. Just havent seen much of that cross this far down (60 miles from the gulf).

I am using Gelbviehs in north central florida and have had no problem with the heat bothering them. I am in the process of calving out 20 1/2 blood gelbvieh heifers and all are doing great so far.
