Brangus & Angus Questions??

I am not trying to start anything about who's cow is better!!!
To me when I look out at a herd of black cattle , I can not tell if they are angus or brangus. I guess if I saw one with a small hump on it's back , I would guess brangus??
Now my understanding of a brangus is 5/8 Angus , 3/8 Brahman.
You breed both purebreds getting a F1 cross, then you breed the F1 cross back to a full blood Angus. There may be another step in there. not sure.

Any way my Question is what do you have if you go the other way ?
3/8 Angus X 5/8 Brahman??

To my knowledge that is not a "Breed". Just another cross, but would make a good mama cow.

Sometimes you can't. Brangus will generally have more ear, leather, looser sheath. But not always.

They almost always have 2" more ear than angus or more.
There ears appear to be attached a little lower.
There naval has a bulge of loose skin, there brisket and neck have more loose shin than angus, but the real give away is the view from behind.
The back end of an angus is neat and tidy.
The back end of a brangus looks a 90 year old women...I guess???
Have not seen any 90 yr olds but my honey is almost half of that.
