I think someone should counter those "Happy California Cow" commercials with some pictures of real California dairies. That would be 10,000 holstien cows in a feedlot. Or if the pictures were after a good rain storm it would be 10,000 cows in a mudlot. The cows look like gators, just their eyes sticking out of the mud.
They are cute commercials but boy are they far from the truth. Happy cows come from the two or three 100 cow dairies that are left in the world. And none of them are in California.
