What is the calving ease of Brahman cattle?

Brahman cows are real easy calvers, but IIRC using the bulls on smaller british cattle can get some painful results. Those with more zebu experience can elaborate further than I.

If we lived a little further south I would get some Brahman cattle. THey have many good qualities and calving ease is a very important on. Thanks Kaneranch

We are having our first calf crop right now out of our Brahman bull. I've had no calving problems whatsoever. I did lose one (think it was stillborn or buzzards attacked). So far we have had 3 herefords, 1 Limousin, 1 black baldie, and Braford/Limousin cross calve. I also have 2 springing and still more coming.

Edit: I also forgot to add, those calves are the fastest growing buggers on the place. 1 is 2 months old and it is bigger than the 3-4 month angus cross calves.
