Brahamen

Your subject is "Brahamen" and your post is "Brahaman". Is the subject title considered to be plural? I haven't heard of this as a separate breed but have seen "Brahaman" as an alternate spelling for Brahman from time to time - usually from non US residents. Let us know if you find out anything else.

Now I am really confused. I am talking about the breed whatever the spelling, or what it is called.
Hey, are we talking Brahma as in brahma bull ? Brahaman is just an other spelling for the same critter. I know because I raise Brahma cross.

Cowboy
Yes.

Brahma are used for crossing with other breeds to get a critter that calves easy and can take the heat in the south and southwest. here in washington we use a full blood or a F-1 cross for calving ease on first year heifers.

brahman come for asia and india area of the world. we have the
American Brahman breed here in the USA, as a breed of it's own.

browse the breed page and that may help. picture at left is a brahaman

Thanx for the info y'all. In the Aberdeen Angus handout i recived, it sayed thet the breed was formed with 2 breeds of polled cattle. Aberdeen cattle, and Angus cattle. Is this the same with Brahama cattle? I mean the 2 breeds crossed?

Multiple breeds of bos indicus cattle were used to develop the Brahman cattle.
