About two years ago I decided to start mixing in some older well proven bloodlines. One of the bulls I chose was Boyd New Day. I was able to find about 30 straws our local Genex rep had left over. The main goal is to produce good maternal females with this particular sire. So far, we had four bulls and one heifer. All the calves are nice, but I feel like the heifer is starting to step on the gas and looks a little better everyday. She was the lightest heifer born this year at 68lbs and looks like she will likely be the top weaning heifer. Below is a link to a short video of her.

One word, quality.

Good job.

I really like her. She looks to walk very correctly. Going to have a big middle, just like I like them.
Very nice, be proud of her
