Box blade scraper

Hi. I have a little farm and even less equipment and I don't want too much . I have a chisel plough I use to work up some ground and then I broadcast a bit of seed to grow grazing crops. I don't have a harrow or roller.

I have a gravel track and was thinking of getting a box blade to touch up the track. Could I use a box blade to smudge a rough paddock level after cultivation and also use it to lightly harrow or cover seed?

I am trying to use one machine for several jobs to keep my cost down..

As cattle panel works great as a harrow to cover the seed. I think your box blade will grab too much dirt.

Box blade would work to smooth the paddock. Then you could spread the seed. Then I'd probably use a panel like Brute suggested to do the job of covering the seed.

Yes a box blade smoothes things nicely that's what I use when grading yards and backfilling.
