Buckshot is my goto in t

I taught primitive archery for a custom bowyer for years.
Mr Leach has passed on, I have several custom Leach Bows hanging on the wall as payment. I have lost more deer with a rifle versus a bow, I don't remember losing one with buckshot.
I wasn't quite as good Pearson.

Buckshot is my goto in thick timber, especially still hunting or driving, not too much interest in that anymore tho, it seems

I am one of the few here that still hunt with a shotgun.

My first 2 deer were with a shotgun in pike co IL.
I did prefer my bow, for years when I was younger.
Haven't even had the time or energy over the last few years.
I was recently re interested in digging out my rifle....
She wants the freezer filled!

CB what do you recommend to shoot a hog with a shotgun?
It's odd but every shotgun I have is 16ga.

That's what I hunt with, you have to shoot em in the rib cage. Forget the shoulder it's like a bullet proof vest.
I shot big one couple weeks ago with a 20 and #1 buckshot, rolled up pretty tight.
