We used to start the calves on a quart of goats milk cut fifty-fifty with water three times a day, after a couple of days we would increase the mixture to 2 quarts twice a day, after a week or so we would decrease the water in make it up with milk after two weeks or so, 2 quarts twice a day of straight goats milk. Watch for scours, and it depends on the breed of goat, Nubian and Toggs took a little longer to get on full milk, Alpine, Saanan about what I've described, have no idea about munchies, never raised them. We raised 200 to 300 holstein and holstein Angus cross calves a year that way and had no problems, just watch out for the squirts when your getting them ramped up on the straight milk dunmovin farms
