So, my twin heifer that the wife's been feeding started to develop a different color stool yesterday. Red flags up, told the wife watch it closely, and she did. Took a sample to the vet today and had it cultured, bacterial infection, got meds and hopefully she's back on track. I had meds at the house, but sometimes you just got to zip it.

the road to recovery is much easier when you can catch a problem early. nice job of keeping a watchful eye out for problems. hope bacterial infection clears up fast a she gets back on track.

She's doing fine, eating feed and a little hay, let her out into the lot the other day, and she just ran and ran, needed to stretch i guess.
