Educational post for all the what should I breed questions. If you have Gerts or Simbrah, you need a bull with less milk if you want to keep/sell breeding stock heifers. Charolais will knock it down and so will Hereford.

Those are some of the better Bos Indicus cattle that I have seen in a little while. They are really nice and stout.

Out of all the cattle I saw the Brafords were the most visually stunning. They were sleek, shiny and beefy. They really turned heads.

Never heard of the Droughtmaster. How do you make them? They look similar to the Gerts.

My understanding is that originally Brahman and shorthorn like a Santa and then used some other British breeds like Hereford. They are about 50/50 bos indicus bos Taurus composite.
