Made a boom pole out of scraps for hog killing I don't like using front end loaders to dip pigs.

I made that last year with some capicola and lonzino I dont think I will make any this year

Back in my younger days my dad used one just about like that on the hog hanging as I still have it. We did not have a loader then and used it to pick up and load thing also. Very handy and looks like you did a good job with the scraps. Metal/steel is very expensive as last year I went and bought a few pieces and they wanted way to much but had to buy. I have a couple of metal scrap piles I go through to scavenge steel as needed if I can find what I need. Selling steel right now is very cheap.

Local yard is paying $150 a ton now, was $130 a couple of weeks ago. A few months back it was $60.

Yes sir I go to auctions and buy junk for a few bucks just for the steel for projects or fixes. Thanks it held I may go back and add more supports and such
