Speaking of sniping, heres a good story that ended with a sniping by the good guys! I'd thought the story of Bonne & Clyde to be a fable until tonight when I watched History Detectives..... I found a long but good story about the life of Bonne and Clyde through one of the History Detectives link pages.... Happy reading.....

According to the owner of the ranch we live on, Bonnie and Clyde hid behind a big oak tree in a draw on the ranch while they were running from the Waco police. Don't know if this is true, but it could be possible since we are about 20 miles NW of Waco, where they are known to have had a few run-ins with the law.

Yeah, they were for real. My grandparents owned a butch shop on the square in Denton, Tx. and they would tell us occasionally about them coming thru town.

And I know a few of Clyde's distant kin folks, but they don't have much to say about them, only that they are kin.
