The last surviving officer and member of WW2's Easy Company (Band of Brothers) Lt. Edward Shames died yesterday at age 99.
Bob Dole represented what the definition of the Republican Party was when it was the GOP. He was a great man and a very upstanding and effective legislator. He was willing to work across the aisle and do what was was best for the Country. He will be missed more than any of us realize.
Darn good man, smart too, voted for Trump twice. Left wing media referred to him as a "Trumper". That's the highest form of flattery.
