Bloody urine

:help: Was out feeding my penned heifers today. Noticed what looked like bloody urine in the snow.... Contained a few blood clots. Was wondering if any of you all came across this before and what it could be..... :???:

These heifers are 9 month old black angus and 650-700 lbs. Is there anything else I should watch for?

If there is bright fresh blood, more then a teaspoon or 2 it could bear watching

Could be a bladder or kidney infection, too. If you see it more than once I'd treat her. Talk to your vet about recommendations - I don't want to practice without a license. Not that it has ever stopped anyone here before. :shock:
