How come you never hear to much about this breed in the US? Seems like it would be just as good in crossbreeding the way Charolais is?

Don't know myself, but in Canada there are few breeders, and even fewer with quality animals. I've seen some beautiful cows and great bulls, but I've seen alot o'junk.

Yep Copeman, the Angus breeders of America will thank you. They love to see commercial cattlemen buying their bulls. Of course you gotta put up with those yeild grade 3's and 4's if you retain ownership, and If you sell em at weaning you get those smaller weaning weights. As for me I like those english x european
crosses
