I have a 900 pound Hereford steer that has bloat. I gave him some baking soda and 18cc of Vegetable oil. I lead him around every hour. Will this work? THANKS
Depends. There is free gas bloat (often caused by grain overload) that can respond to MINERAL oil and baking soda, or frothy bloat which needs a surfactant. If he's no better, call your vet!
