Would a black baldie be a good heifer bull?

What are his EPDs?

Since crossbred cattle(Assuming its HerfXAngus) usually don't have EPDs calculated, I would like at sire, Maternal Grand Sire, and individual performance. Black Baldie is merely a color, not a performance factor. I think you would be better buying a registered bull from a quality producer.

The primary problem with using a crossbred bull is the unpredicatability factor caused by heterosis in the calf. It doesn;t just start at birth but is present all through gestation.

I think any breed of Bull could be a decent heifer bull as long as the the Birth weights are low ....I have seen lot of shorthorns used on hiefer for calving ease..
