bison bull with cattle

A friend wants to sell us a Bison bull incredibly cheap. We have cattle. Been looking for a bull, anyway. Will "He" mate with the cows? What will the little ones look like? Will anybody want ot buy them? Who?

We have had bison for 30 years and beef cows 111 years, the bison bull will not breed your cows, he will most likely leave your pasture looking for other bison.

My advice for what its worth is eat the bison, get the head mounted and buy a beef bull for your cows. Rod
