Inyati, sorry to hear that your Blue Heeler ate your Killdeer eggs. It is difficult to change up a birds nest, and protect it at the same time. I have had Wren's to build a nest in one spot on a piece of equipment under roof, and if I don't move it very far, say a few feet, they will go back to it. But if I move it much further, they will return. I love the little Wren's.
I have not had any trouble with my Blue Heeler eating cow manure, but my two Jack Russells will eat calf manure when they are still nursing the cow. I guess it is just a dog thing.
