My computer is about to be replaced by a new one -- it has been totally unreliable for a few days, so we'll see if this posts. Of the 7 cows we AI'd, we drew blood from 4. Of those 4, Bio-track says we have 3 pregnant. The 4th was one we had to pull a dead calf from this year, dosed her up with antibitoics and hoped she was OK. We'll watch her for heat signs. She's a nice girl; I'd hate to make her hamburger. One was actually in heat when we did the blood draw and we AI'd her again the next day. The two we couldn't drain blood from are up in the air. Those 2 and the one we just re-AI'd . . . we'll see how the weather goes as to how/when we preg check them.
Forecast is for some big snow in the next few days. A friend is bringing 2 of her girls to our chute for AI tomorrow, and me thinks it'll be a very snotty day. Had 30 mph winds today w/ rain, and snow a little higher. Snow is supposed to hit us tomorrow.
