Biomycin causing lumps in calves?

I treated a calf with 15cc of biomycin SQ in the neck last night. Today I see a lump on the injection site. Normal?

No, it is not normal to administer biomycin in a 15cc dose to a calf... label states 10cc per injection site in adult cattle.
So excessive lumping and tissue damage by injecting 15cc in one spot in a calf is certainly expected.
In the future break it up into 2 injections a couple inches apart or to be safer, one on each side of the neck.

Sorry I forgot to mention that I did 2 injection sites. One on either side. The one side swelled, the other did not.
