Today, the calves moved over to the big pasture! They were so funny, running jumping & having a grand ole time. Frank even chased the donkey! Poor Ricky (the donkey) he didn't know what to do! They are waist deep in bermuda & dallis grass (wish I could get rid of that) Still some area's with plain ole weeds, but I guess just time will cure that ( & more weed killer). Moved the baby goats too (8 months old).

It was great, wonderful to have calves that when you call them, they follow

Everyone is exploring & munching - they didn't even care to check the feed buckets for food. Hubby told me not to feed them this morning, I assume he is right?

Plenty of fresh feed, so don't worry about feeding today. They will be happy enough.

It is good to have cows/calves that will come when called and follow. When I get in the field on the JD Gator, the cows know to follow it, because it leads to something good. It scares the wife to death when the cows get all around it and we "walk" together to the new pasture but the granddaughter loves it.

I'm moving mine again this evening...
